Entry pathways

Participation begins with declared purpose.

Every stakeholder enters through a clear role and accepts the standards attached to it.

01

Students & learners

Enter through an official learning pathway, study the source material, and apply knowledge with discipline and integrity.

02

Creators & contributors

Bring useful work, respect intellectual ownership, credit collaborators, and distinguish original work from interpretation.

03

Partners & institutions

Present a clear purpose, proposed contribution, responsible contact, intended beneficiaries, and measurable shared outcome.

Six standards govern the work.

These standards protect the institution, its people, its intellectual work and the trust of the communities it serves.

Purpose before access

Engagement begins with a stated learning, contribution, collaboration or development purpose.

Evidence before claims

Represent qualifications, outcomes, affiliations and opportunities truthfully. Do not promise guaranteed results.

Attribution before distribution

Credit BISONG SIMON TV, The African Harvard, named authors and collaborators whenever their work is quoted, adapted or shared.

Permission before representation

No person or organization may imply endorsement, partnership, appointment or authority without written authorization.

Contribution before extraction

Participation should strengthen knowledge, opportunity, community or institutional capacity—not merely take attention or access.

Dignity in every exchange

Discrimination, intimidation, harassment, exploitation and deliberate misinformation are incompatible with this institution.

Partnership review

Proposals are reviewed for mission alignment, legitimacy, mutual benefit, safeguarding, intellectual-property clarity and practical delivery. Submission does not create a partnership. Public representation begins only after written authorization.

Institutional independence

The African Harvard is an independent BISONG SIMON TV initiative. It is not affiliated with Harvard University, any government or the European Union. Geographic references express connection, not endorsement.

Call to governance

If your purpose aligns with the standard, present your contribution.
